I don’t think that you guys are really ready for an election.
What’s with the "attack" theme on this site and in the media today? When Hillary asks some questions, she is "attacking"?
Obama gets no hard look from the press. They just show pictures and speeches. Where will his scrutiny come from?
A nearly hypnotic trance has descended on the Obama supporters - to the great detriment of producing a candidate well-positioned to win in November. "Hope" la la "Change" la la "Happy" la la etc..........
Folks, we’re looking for someone to take on the GOP machine and knock em dead. We’re looking for a fighter.
Can Obama not handle a few questions coming his way from an opponent in the primary?
Are the supporters trying to protect their candidate from having to account on the issues? Some in the country would like to hear specifics. In fact, many of us on this site would like to hear that too.
I’m really wondering just how much of a hope bubble Obama is living in when any discourse that does not involve hope or change becomes an "attack."
The media isn’t asking any hard questions of Obama – so they only come from his opponents. Or should we just proceed to a coronation?
Oh, and it just so nicely tucks into the ongoing media obsession with an "angry" Hillary. Today’s NY Post screamed "Hill Goes Ballistic!" I'd call this playing the anger card.
Actually, I wonder about a President who can’t handle the heat of a primary being ready and able to stare down the GOP for all of 2008. Hillary has been persecuted by the GOP for years - and is still standing.
If the Obama supporters panic when the candidate is investigated, then this is not a movement - it's a collective trance.
I think the GOP would like to take on a candidate who was protected from having to answer tough questions in the Democratic primaries. Some of the crossover voters in Iowa likely thought that too.
